We had an exceptional stay at Villa Vista Haputale. During our visit we were the only guests for most part occupying one of the four rooms, which made the experience feel very private and peaceful. Surrounded by nature, the villa offers beautiful views and absolute serenity, with several semi-outdoor and outdoor living areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. The staff were incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. Dinner was outstanding every night, easily on the level of a great restaurant while priced the same as elsewhere. As the property is set in nature, it doesn’t have hospital-style cleanliness and a few insects are part of the environment, though surprisingly there were very few mosquitoes and the staff provided incense sticks to keep them out of the room. Also suprisingly, villa offers decent wifi to post all the views while staying there. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and perfect for introverted, nature-loving travellers.

An absolutely beautiful and spacious villa completely hidden in the middle of the jungle. The first time arriving was a bit challenging — we followed the map at night and it was not easy to find the road — but once we arrived, it turned into pure amazement. The place truly feels like a small paradise. Total peace, silence, and nature all around create a perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The view is stunning, and sleeping there was incredibly calm and refreshing. The staff made the experience even more special. Sampath and the chef were wonderful hosts — extremely kind and welcoming — and they prepared delicious Sri Lankan specialties that we genuinely enjoyed every day. If you are looking for privacy, nature, and complete isolation from noise and crowds, this villa is a perfect choice. A truly unique and relaxing experience.

A truly unforgettable stay - peaceful, scenic, and filled with warm hospitality. From the breathtaking views to the beautifully maintained property, every detail made our visit feel special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and the food was exceptional. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of Haputale. We would definitely return and highly recommend Villa Vista to anyone looking for a serene hill country escape!

I stayed at Villa Vista , and it was such a beautiful experience from start to finish. The villa sits right on top of a hill surrounded by nature waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the mist rolling over the mountains was just magical. The rooms were super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell that the place is really well taken care of. The food was another highlight everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing! Every meal felt homemade and full of flavor. The staff were honestly the best part, thank you nuwan and sampath for your services . They were so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home, and I really appreciated the warmth and care they showed throughout my stay.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with great food and wonderful people. I’d definitely love to come back!
