• The food was freshly prepared every day. • Guests need to order dinner or breakfast in advance, ensuring enough food for everyone. • The view was amazing, overlooking the national park and tea plantations. • The location was very quiet, near the end of the village. • The service was excellent—staff were always polite and helpful. • The hotel manager, Haschan, was very friendly, organized, and accommodating. • There was a lovely small garden at the entrance with many plants. • Some ingredients, like avocados, onions, and vegetables, were grown in the hotel’s own garden. • It is a charming, family-run hotel with a personal touch.

The hotel is located very nicely on the edge of a tea plantation with a great view far into the southern planes of Sri Lanka. From there you can start really nice walks or tuktuk tours e. g. to Lipton's Seat and other areas. The hotel was clean and the personnel really nice!

The views are breathtaking from the bedroom to the communal parts and the breakfast space. In the tea plantations with a fantastic walk on your doorstep as well as further afield. Very peaceful. Short walk (15-20 mins) into Haputale or quick Tuk Tuk ride.

Location is amazing, in the middle of the tea plantations. The bed and shower are great but i mostly enjoyed the balcony with a great view. Amazing value for money.

Amazing view - floor to ceiling glass in the public area and the bedroom looking out over a misty sunrise, delightful views into the valley and lush green surrounding hills. Delicious buffet dinner and breakfast, carefully thought through and skilfully prepared variety of delicious dishes both meals. What an amazing view out over the tea estate to the foothills and beyond! Be sure to catch it in the morning before the cloud rolls in. All of this from your room, and from the small restaurant. The staff were kind and helpful. The buffet served at dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and very varied. Comfortable bed, good shower.

We liked the located of the property, a short tuktuk ride (or walk) from the centre of Haputale with beautiful views across the tea estates and beyond. We had a very spacious room with a balcony. Hashan and his team were extremely welcoming and we enjoyed spending time with them. Hashan is also very knowledgeable and provided great advice on planning our stay. The property offers great value for money.
