The location, perched on the edge of the Upland Hapatule area, within high Tea Estates was supreme. . You could see The South coast in the distance and everything in between. The 2 bedroom bungalow had real olde world charm, red painted floors, servants quarters adjacent, where our chef cooked the evening meals to be served in the bungalows dining room. Breakfast was served adjacent to the cottage, consumed while transfixed by the view...I really cannot say enough . Thank you all at Kelburn. Raj was amazing, he did everything he could to make the stay comfortable.

Fantastic cottages in a tea plantion with views from all angles. We had breakfast looking over to tea plantation, lunch on our terrace overlooking the mountains and dinner served to us in our dinner area. The food was superb and the staff anticipated our every need. It was calming and relaxing. There was things to do locally but when your here the only thing you can do is nothing. Bliss

The estate, set on the outskirts of Haputale, was just as peaceful as we remembered from our visit 10 years ago. We were especially glad we chose Haputale over Ella, which we found far too busy during a day trip. One of the highlights of our stay was the walk up to Lipton’s Seat directly from the estate, passing through stunning tea plantations and being greeted by happy, waving schoolchildren. I would highly recommend this walk to anyone staying here! The two dinners we had in our bungalow were among the best meals of our entire one-month trip to Sri Lanka! The presentation, flavours, and beautifully set dining table were truly outstanding and a real highlight of our stay.
