Hotel is beside the train station. The location is very convenient if you have travels by train. Though location is not within the Old Quarter, still its a good place if you prefer a less touristy just a walking distance to old quarter.

Hotel is next to Hanoi train station, it"s convenient if you r catching or arriving by train. 110-15 mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake and old quarter, good breakfast, only inconvenience is that it allows people to smoke in the lobby.

The location is literally right beside Hanoi Train Station which is excellent for my morning train ride and adjacent to restaurant, shops and banks. Its beautifullly kept old building add to its charm. Its also has elevatior which sometimes uncommon for hotel in Vietnam. Staffs speak relatively good English which ease communication. Great value for money and definately will book again for future trip to Hanoi.
