The hosts were very friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning, the pho was one of the best we had in our 3 weeks in Vietnam. Really nice feel and great location.

We had a lovely Vietnamese-style breakfast each day cooked fresh for us. Our hosts organised our airport transfer and were waiting to carry our bags when we arrived. The hosts were very attentive and helpful and we felt very safe in the room. Everything was very clean, the room was very comfortable and it was a perfect location to visit all of the main attractions in the old town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

The owner and the staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They made themselves available when we needed them, and we learned a lot about the country's culture because of them. The Vietnamese breakfast was delicious. The entire stay was a fantastic value for the money.

Our stay here was amazing!! The three women working at Secret Garden were so welcoming, lovely and very generous. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The whole house was very clean and beautiful! If you love art this is the place!!! We organised to drop our bags off in the morning when we arrived in Hanoi but ended up being able to check in about five hours early which was so generous and convenient for us. We are both vegan which they accommodated for our home cooked breakfasts each morning, which were all delicious. They insisted on carrying out bags up and down the stairs, gave us a whole plate of lychees one night, gave us a snack to take to the airport, and just went out of their way to make our stay comfortable! The location was also in the centre of town, right near the train street if that's your thing. We loved being able to walk most places to get food and to explore Hanoi. Couldn't fault our stay here!!!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi.
