The Secret Garden is a hidden jewel in the old city. Lan made us feel at home, especially with her freshly-cooked breakfast-options (i recommend the vietnamese option!). The room was spacious and the location was great. Directly behind the hotel you can find a street with a lot of very delicious food options. You can reach the rest of the old town and other sightseeing spots on foot in a couple of minutes. Our room had a window to the street, which made it a little noisy, but with earplugs (provided in the room) it is ok. We loved it and would recommend it :-)

It is in a central part of the city, everything is close by. The room itself is nice, breakfast is good, the staff is really nice.

The host was so accommodating. She was very helpful. Provided a takeaway breakfast on the mornings we had an early start and would miss breakfast and allowed us to store our luggage while we were travelling outside of the city. There was also laundry facilities.

Perfect location in the centre of everything you need! It's on a busy road but still feels quite quiet. Lan was kind very and attentive to us. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something closer to old quarter and lake and train street and citadel.
