Tim Diggle “Comfortable and sensibly priced”

Very reasonable breakfast with offer of fried egg on request from very friendly and helpful staff. Quality and range was perfectly good - frankly slightly better than I expected. Room, especially bathroom, was small but entirely adequate for a solo traveller. Decor was a little tired but everywhere was clean. Slightly noisy but if you want a hotel near the rail station you must expect some rail noise - it wasn't intrusive and I could have shut the window. Several decent restaurants in the immediate vicinity (I recommend the Taj Mahal next door if you like a good curry spiced to your chosen taste or Block House if you prefer a steak) Staff were very good - friendly, approachable but still professional - probably the best aspect of the hotel.

Location close to the Hbf is a plus for business travellers. The accommodation are refurbished rooms in an apartment building. The interiors are basic, functional and clean - Good for a short stay.

comfortable room in a good location close to the city centre. the staff are so friendly always saying hello when you pass by. super quiet area with lots of food and coffee spots nearby
