Rene kindly brought us from /to the airport in his car and treated us with gorgeous garlands. He patiently showed us around and helped with information about the places and culture of the island. In the kitchen we found enough to get us started plus lovely fruit in a bowl covered with a fresh hibiscus flower. The terrace had a hammock from which we could see a glimpse of the sea among the trees, and from the garden we could see the top hat of the eyed-Moai and receive visits from the local chickens. We loved the traditional and quirky wooden decor of the bungalow that enhanced the peaceful Rapa Nui experience in addition to the amazing location so close to the Tahai Moai, which are extraordinary at sunset.

The cabins are in a beautiful location, just a few minutes walk from some Moai where you can watch sunset. The cabin was very large and equiped with everything we needed. We really liked the style of it, and the bed was very comfortable. Rene was a great host, very friendly. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.

The property is located a walking distance from the sea, with lots of places to eat not far away. It is a very lovely facility, quiet, and beautiful. Our host was absolutely fabulous as he helped us with car rental, and recommended the very best guide for our tour of the island. To add, the welcome at the airport was truly a lovely touch. Honestly you won’t meet better people.

Rene was a fantastic host He both picked us up and returned us to the airport Drove us around Hanga Roa for over half an hour to get National Park passes and get cash at an ATM He arranged for us to rent a car and even was willing to guide us to The Moai although that was not expected
