Lovely group of ancient houses, turned into a nice hotel, with friendly people as staff and nice cooks making delicious food. we’ll be back as soon as we are in the neighbourhood.

Away from the bustle of the hot cities, this is a great place to relax, cool down and experience hot summer near a small river and under the trees. Our room boasted a spacious, new and well-equipped bathroom. Bed was excellent and huge, decorations do need to be updated although it might fit the style of the Hotel. Delicious food in the Restaurant and excellent service which we enjoyed at lunchtime. Make sure you do advance booking for the first evening. We ended up in the Bistro, which was attended by 1 waiter for about 25 guests. He was hopeless. Forgetting orders and spoiling tea on the tasty chocolates (without replacing them) and on top the steak was without taste. Reception desk was understanding and generous when we mentioned it. The hotel features a lovely shady garden with chairs everywhere. With Munster on a 15 min drive a great location.

Location was great for us and the room was excellent and the general décor was very warm and welcoming. The food was first class as was the service by the staff. The car park was large and free.
