We did not take advantage of the breakfast, as we were not sure if it was available, plus we had plans to stop later in our trip home for breakfast.

Good location, cute and cozy. Everything was clean and neat and front desk friendly enough. (I stayed there twice - one was friendlier than the other, but both fine.)

the ac worked pretty well. The water was hot. the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was not friendly. The first person was ok, but the older foreign man and a German girl/lady were curt and not welcoming like I was a bother. Crazy considering there was hardly anyone there. On my last day there I met ONE of the cleaning ladies who was an older lady with short hair. She was very kind and friendly and took the time to speak with me even though I pulled her from a room. I could see she took her job of cleaning seriously as there was sweat pouring off of her.

I didn't know there was breakfast! There is so much more this property can do to promote business. It seems the entire area behind the motel, which is a stunning piece of property looking onto beautiful forest is totally under-utilised. I think you should be more forward-thinking. I would put in a coffee station, a pool and chill area for cyclists. There is a constant stream of cyclists through the business and I would think of many ways to optimise this stream of customers. A vending machine for cycling parts (seen in Boulder) would be a good idea. Energy bars, energy drinks, juice bottles, pump kits etc for cyclists. Cyclists are always looking for a good coffee spot to pause on their way. etc
