This place is an absolute hidden gem! We were greeted by the entire family who were busy beautifying the restaurant space when we arrived. All smiles, and felt so welcome straight away. The bamboo huts are perfect, they are very clean, tidy, and minimal. There are ceiling fans and an en suite bathroom. Importantly, the hut seals well so outside stays outside (but you'll hear the frog and insect chorus which I loved). The restaurant onsite had incredible food, we were blown away by how delicious our meals were, so much so that we didn't eat anywhere else during our stay in the area! This stay was a much needed retreat off the beaten track, a chance to unwind, relax and recharge before we continue our travels. NOTE: we spent time talking with the owner about his experience running his family business. I was disheartened to hear that it's very difficult for them when guests book and then no show. They hold people's booking until the last minute (often turning away other potential guests) - inevitably ending in empty huts. If you have to cancel, please call them so they know! This happened during our stay, I was so glad we could be here to support this family business. You will be too. A true 10/10 experience.

The cottage and bathroom is both super clean and nice! Comfortable place with a beautiful landscape. The surrounding and place itself is very calm and wide which enables you to have some personal space. The food is amazing and Raju and his wholesome family are always there to help. My sister and I were very happy to have landed in Anu Homestay and to be surrounded by their nice energy! :)
