We arrived after a long journey through icy winds and snow in a warm house with a bottle of Proseco waiting for us on the table! The bedrooms have a decent size and the mattresses are comfortable. The living room upstairs has a huge Flatscreen with a nice sound bar and a comfortable sofa! The spacy open kitchen is more than well-equipped (no toaster but instead a great sandwich-maker), lots of glasses and cups, many plates, pans and pots. Refrigerator + freezer! A nice dining table with very comfortable chairs. The living room downstairs has a fireplace and another comfortable sofa + 2 wing chairs with a wonderful view of the fjord. Bathroom is really big with Washing machine/dryer and a wonderful sauna! Parking in front of the house. A very quiet area to relax in the home. It was 100% clean!!! Kvalsund (not even a five minute drive) has a good supermarket and the way to Hammerfest is only half hour away where you can get everything - nice little small town. The area is great for hiking - we did a lot of snowshoe hiking. We'll back in Spring/Summer to see a bit more of the place...
