The location was great. Easy to get to the town, and the theatre which we need to cross with the ferry which was a lot of fun for the kids. The rooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable and we could control the heating which was brilliant. Supermarket was close and a few restaurants too. You can also order food in from a lot of options.

There was an unpleasant situation at the check in but the manager was very nice and solved it professionally and we are thankful for that. We had a spacious room with a bathtub on the 6th floor overlooking urban area and S-bahn. It did not disturb us - we heard barely any noise. I would say the room was perfect but check everything - we had a stained pillow hopefully clean but it is not cool. The breakfast was nice. There is ice in the bar for free. And for all the unpleasant situations we were granted late checkout (Sunday) for free. It is probably the cheapest from the hotels of similar level in Hamburg, so thumbs up for that. But still, 7/10.
