I decided to stay in this hostel because the majority of the other hostels were either already booked or were located too close to the train stations or because they didn't have a kitchen or were too expensive. Although I really enjoyed the interaction with the staff (they are wonderful people!), I don't understand why this hostel is rated at 8.0. With such a rating, I was expecting to see something extraordinary. However, the hostel doesn't have a storage room. The kitchen is quite good (spacious and has mostly everything), the bar and the inner yard are cozy, but the room... Well, I stayed in a mixed room with 7 people. I understand that it's usually the cheapest accommodation, but all the beds had an electric socket and mine didn't, although it was under the ceiling above the other bed (the staff offered me to change beds on the next day but it was a short stay and didn't want to have a hustle). Then, there was literally no shelf to store your stuff on next to the bed. The bathroom was clogged with some hair. There was no holder for the shower hose. Imagine if a guest is one hand disabled? And, only later I discovered some hanger hooks, but they were well hidden. Also, bear in mind that this area is quite loud at night (can't compare with the hostels next to the train station, though...). The district is crowded with drunken travelers/sailors, etc. (The action took place at the end of March). The mattress was very comfy, and that's super! I believe that this place can develop much better. It has its potential, and I'm wishing it all the best! Sorry if it was a too negative review, but I'm trying to keep my reviews fair.

Great staff ,accommodated my early check-in ,provided me with an energy drink since I was exhausted.The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a great sleep .Sadly had to check out early to catch my next train home.
