The staff were friendly, if a bit busy. There was plenty of variety at breakfast. The pickled herring was new to me and I loved it :) The bed was comfortable. The location was grand. On a map it seems a little out of the centre, which it is - but we walked everywhere (in the snow!) despite the U-bahn being at the other end of the street.

The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Nothing to complain about at all, tidy, warm, kept clean. Staff were super helpful in every respect.

Great location with easy access to public transport and also close to Planten and Blumen which is lovely to walk through. Easy walks to the Harbour and Elbe Philharmonia. Also close to many restaurants. The room was clean and the fridge was a bonus. Nice view of the fun fair at night when it was all lit up. Easy check in and easy check out.
