The location was excellent close to main town & restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of different dishes.

Pension Bergfried in Hallstatt is a fantastic place to stay – it truly deserves the highest rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The parking is right next to the guesthouse – it’s large, convenient, and what’s more, we were allowed to leave our car longer than the official check-out time, which was a huge advantage. The room was exceptionally clean, well-kept, and comfortable, with the added bonus of a kettle and cups, perfect for making coffee or tea anytime. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean, which made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast is also served at the guesthouse – we didn’t try it ourselves, but other guests praised it very highly. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the entire experience left a great impression on us. I can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse – our stay was truly enjoyable!

Simple but very clean and well-kept place. The staff are very friendly and caring, which makes the stay feel welcoming. Breakfast is tasty and definitely worth the price. The hotel is located a bit away from the busy center, so it’s very quiet at night, and at the same time it’s only about a 15-minute walk to the ferry. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
