A good sized hotel in a quieter part of town, but still only a ten minute or so walk into the main sections. 1 minute walk to the lake, bus terminus and a small supermarket. 1 minute walk to the funicular railway. Bright room with a balcony looking out onto the funicular and the mountain behind it. Very friendly English-speaking staff when we arrived.

The location is great. Close to the mountain if you want to hike. Just a few walk away from the salt mine. Close to the lake. Friendly staff.

Great location and clean rooms although quite small. Was provided with an electric jug but not tea and coffee which was a little strange. Good hikes nearby.

Lovely clean room with 2 balconies. Great location for seeing Hallstatt and free parking space within property grounds.
