It was close to town but quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room, well appointed with a fabulous spa bath. The location was stunning with wildlife on the doorstep. Very comfortable bed. Great blinds for privacy and darkness for a great sleep.

Fabulous location. THe lodge was such a great space with large comfortable rooms . Kitchen had everything including basics for cooking.

Could not fault a thing. Everything was thought of. Well appointed and quality fittings. Bed was super comfy. Lighting was fantastic. So close to the town centre but couldn't hear a thing from the road. Cicadas were in full swing though! Deafening outside, but very little sound inside. Excellent location and everything you need was there - except a torch! We arrived and there was a total blackout. Everything was shut except the bike shop where we bought a tiny torch in case the power would not come on until after dark. Lovely "nanna" rugs to throw over your knees if cool, but not enough to need to light the fire. But when needed it was lovely to curl up in front of it! Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Thank you!

Excellent location and everything you need for a self catered stay. Even sauces etc were included. Secluded and comfortable with Netflix, books and games. Jo was excellent to deal with and was very understanding when we had to unexpectedly delay our arrival.

It's impossible to fault this property. On the main street (so within a walking distance to restaurants) it is well set back from the road, in amongst big gum trees, kangaroos and daffodils everywhere as we travelled in spring. The chalet is big for a couple. It is furnished as a home rather than a rental property. The wood was waiting for us to light the fire and there was plenty available to replenish supplies. We wish we had longer to stay. Thank you.

Very spacious lodge. We liked having the wood burning stove, which made for cosy Spring eveings. Extremely comfortable bed. Being able to view kangaroos and deer in the garden was just lovely. Well equipped kitchen.
