We decided at the last minute to take a quick family vacation within Victoria. We have always loved the Grampians, although we have not been for some time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, to wake up in the morning seeing Kangaroos chewing on grass outside the window was a real bonus. For me being a nature and bird lover, I was in heaven seeing the Cockatoos everyday, they tried very hard to get us to feed them, we followed the rules (as one must with cheeky Cockatoos!) and so enjoyed their company everyday. The cottage is in a great location and easy to get to town and the hikes etc. Another treat was our visit to the newly opened National Centre for Environmal Art in nearby Pomonal, this beautifully archicterually designed centre is a must do when in the Grampians. We loved our visits there so much, we went twice! Would love to come back here with my girlfriends who also love and appreciate nature, birds and art :)

Although the outside didnt look anything special, the inside was amazing. It was very comfy and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the fire place.
