The host and his wife were incredibly welcoming. Despite making a late reservation, the host contacted us immediately, and even with the language barrier we were received and taken care of better than anywhere else. You can clearly see their experience, professionalism, and genuine joy in hosting guests. We truly recommend this place!

This homestay, managed by the delightful couple Igor and Gohar, offers a unique experience, fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that transcends the traditional hotel setting. Their residence above the guest accommodations allows for personalized attention and a truly intimate experience. Guests can enjoy coffee in the garden, partake in breakfast in the kitchen, and harvest fresh produce directly from the property's plants. Furthermore, homemade vodka and wine are available for those who are interested. This establishment provides an authentic and memorable experience, distinct from a conventional hotel.

Being guests in a host's house is a traditional experience in Armenia, which we were looking for, and we enjoyed it in Igor's home. He and his wife represented the famous Armenian hospitality, and we were sad that we had only a single night in Tatev. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a nice conversation until late with the hosts, which ended with a nice gift for my papa, which was a very pleasant surprise for him, and he sends big thanks and greetings! Despite the language barrier, Igor did his best with Google Translate :) The house was very clean and we felt at home. The breakfast was so good that it was kind of an experience. Also, Igor helped us to find a driver to Old Khot.

Excellent guesthouse, feels very homely and comfortable, especially after a day hiking. Couple who run it are lovely and sociable. Highly recommend
