Very private and quiet place, where you can have your coffee in the morning, just listening to birds singing and looking at the mountains. Clean, cozy, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for 1 one night. We'd definitely come back.

We loved the Hali. The weather wasn't the kindest to us but this hotel nestled into its surroundings and gave a real Icelandic welcome. The biggest treat for us was the local birds including a huge flock of Arctic Terms and numerous Snipe which were performing "bleating" flights around the hotel grounds. Never seen it heard that before. The staff were great, food was lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. Our favourite stay so far in Iceland.
