Thora and Bjarni were exceptional hosts, incredibly welcoming and helpful with any questions and requests we had. We stayed for 11 nights nights and the Guesthouse really felt so much like home, especially after a long day out in the field. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, particularly getting freshly made porridge and waffles with a selection of homemade jams every morning.

Nice location. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the guesthouse was less than a 20-minute drive from Diamond Beach. The historic house, which the church owned, was renovated into a guesthouse several years ago. I had a very comfortable stay. The host welcomed me warmly. Recommended!

We stayed just one night - was great, the location is good just close to the Road 1, the lady who accommodated us and the lady who owns the house were both really welcoming and friendly, breakfast was good and all the facilities were really clean.

I booked a single room and it was more spacious than I expected. It was clean and I loved that there was a small sink/vanity, so that I could brush my teeth, etc without tying up the main bathroom. The owner and the woman working for her were both lovely and I enjoyed chatting with them.
