Right on the water and a 5 minute stroll from the ferry wharf. The rooms are a good size - we stayed in the pub upstairs in a twin and then a queen and also outside in a queen. The beds were comfortable, the rooms a good size - all rooms have a sink with shared toilets and showers. There is tea and coffee available - in the hotel in the shared lounge and in the outside rooms in the room. The shared guest lounge and deck overlook the harbour with great views and very comfortable. Great having the cafe and pub downstairs. We were there on a Sunday and joined in the Trivia night which was great fun. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Very good coffee and food in the cafe, can also order and eat in the bar.

We had a studio set behind the hotel but were able to use all the hotel facilities. The place is the hub of the village and always buzzing. Excellent food and bar facilities. Staff happy to store bags if you had an afternoon ferry.

Great location on Oban seafront close to other facilities and just a short walk from the Stewart Island flight office, to which we were delivered on arrival. Good restaurant offering reasonable value meals with lively bar next door We stayed in a very good spacious en-suite studio located behind the hotel.
