Keika and her husband are incredible owners. They made our stay comfortable and helped us deal with an unfortunate situation. I ended up injuring my knee skiing, and Keika and her husband were kind enough to give me a ride to the clinic and train station. They also helped arrange transport for our ski bags. The room was amazing. I didn't think sleeping on the floor could be so comfortable. I don't know what kind of zen dimension I entered, but I haven't slept so well years. The breakfast was delicious! I sampled both the Western and Japanese options, and both are worth it, in my opinion. I would recommend the Japanese option.

Property was in a perfect location for Skiing on Goryu mountain with less than 2 minute walk to lifts and rental gear. Traditional ryokan with comfortably sized rooms and a lovely onsen. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, even insisting to drive us to the train station which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

The traditional breakfast is fabulous. We ordered two dinners and they are beyond excellent with very good price. The location is great, only 7 mins walk to nearest Goryu lift and restaurants and rentals, etc.
