The location was beautiful. Our host drove us to the nearby slopes and collected us when we asked. He also helped us with equipment hire. We loved the onsen experience there at Log Cottage Epoch. The accommodation is a short walk to the town centre if you go the back way (which we only found out about a day or so before we left). I loved how the bathroom was the warmest room in the cottage - it made showering so much more pleasant after a day in the snow.

Cool little snow cottage and on onsen was epic every night after snowboarding all day
