The fine print
Please note smoking is only permitted in the lobby during the following hours: 22:00-06:00. A smoking area is located outside of the property.A free shuttle between the property and 2 ski resorts, Goryu Ski Resort and Hakuba 47 Ski Resort, is provided by the property. The shuttle takes around 1 minute from the bus stop in front of the property or guests can take a 6-minute walk to the resorts. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes between 08:00-11:00 and 15:15-17:15.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, even driving me the short distance to hire my gear the afternoon before I hit the slopes. Location is good, (though the walking distance if you come from the Goryu bus stop was somewhat further than expected) and free shuttle every morning puts you in easy reach of the Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Still, I enjoyed taking the short stroll down the hill from the ski resort at day's end instead of waiting for the shuttle if conditions are good. Our room (for up to 3 persons) was comfortable and more spacious than your average tiny ski resort accommodation type of room. I appreciated the extra tatami space in the room for lazing about and placing our things. Communal bath was good; what you'd expect and not crowded every time I went. Had the entire bath to myself most of the time.

The staffs, Marcus and Farah, were very kind and friendly. They went over and beyond to help us whenever we have any problems. The hotel room itself is spacious. We went to hakuba for snowboarding, there was a drying room to store and dry your equipment for next day usage and 24-hr onsen. Hotel is near multiple good food/restaurant. Hotel has direct free shuttle to the slopes/goryu escal plaza and its also walkable to the slopes if u miss the last bus. Breakfast sausages, eggs and bread were good.
