We really enjoyed Anise Garden. Nanjo and his wife keep the place absolutely spotless and are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are larger than other Japanese accom that we have stayed in and it had everything we needed for our 4nights. We had a slight hiccup at the start with a lost bag in the uber and before we could even ask Nanjo was calling the company and didn’t stop helping until we located it and got it back. The private onsen is amazing! You can relax outdoors Or indoors and the products to use were really nice. Nanjo was so generous and smiley all the time. It is our honeymoon and he gifted us a bottle of wine for our journey. 10/10 service and accommodation. The location is just a short walk from Echoland and about 20mins walk from Happo.

The host is very friendly, and helpful. He patiently helped us ( the ski newbies) find our feet. Take his advice and catch the free shuttle bus to ski fields. Uber gets too busy and cannot cope with demand.

Amazing place to stay! The host is so kind and helpful, always willing to help you. I loved staying here, so close to the snow resorts and great access to the free bus shittles. I highly recommend this place! 5 stars

Such a beautiful property, close to shops and the free shuttle. The host went above and beyond for us, he’s such a kind person. We stayed in a Junior Suite as a family of 4, the room was plenty big enough, with two bathrooms. We could store our snow gear in a drying room each night. The onsen was the best way to start and end the day!
