The man who runs it was very nice and helpful. He even drove us to the bus station when we checked out. He helped us figure out our ski buses and the best places to go. The onsen is great, you just have to make sure you get in when it’s open and don’t stay too long.

very cosy and an amazing stay. we loved the onsen (indoor & outdoor) and the room was very spacious and warm. owner was fantastic! he offered us a lift to the train station and has loads of info about the town. he even explained the bus routes and places to eat near by. there are a few bus routes nearby that make it super easy to get to the mountains.

Nice Alpine house in a forested neighborhood, with large enough rooms, good bathroom, a very nice small onsen (in and outside) 2 free shuttle bus stops 100m away to Koryu and Iwatake ski slopes, 3 or 4 nice restaurants in walking distance (300m) and 7/11 is at 10mn walk. The very very kind owner answers the phone, takes care of everything, including picking you up at the station and driving you to the bus stand when you leave if needed. Ample parking if you have a car. Everything is just like in the pictures and the reviews. We had a lovely stay and would stay here next time.
