Ryokan Overview

Stylishly decorated with Japanese papers and chic furnishings, Yushintei boasts natural hot spring baths and hot tubs. It has provided heartfelt hospitality for more than 50 years in the Hakone hot spring region. Free parking is available on site.
Featuring a historic charm and a relaxing ambience, rooms come with facilities like LCD TV, fridge and electric kettle. Guests can try on yukata robes and unwind in the seating area with a low table and seating cushions. Some rooms have a private open-air hot spring bath.
Yushintei Ryokan’s public bathing area includes differently themed hot spring baths and a chargeable stone bath that can be reserved for private use. Massage services can be arranged at an additional charge. Drink vending machines and free luggage storage are available.
The property is a 15-minute walk from Hakone-yumoto Train Station. Picturesque Lake Ashi can be reached within a 30-minute drive, and Hakone Garasu-no-mori Glass Museum is also a 30-minute drive away.
Delicately prepared Japanese multi-course meals and traditional breakfast can be savoured in the dining hall.

Amazing hospitality, greeted warmly and attentively always. They had treats ready for our toddler at check in and check out! English was good and communication through the app was responsive. Very large room (multiple spaces, with the large sleeping room and adjacent changing room and small sitting room), en suite toilet and shower, and wonderful semi outdoor private bath. (I say semi because it was very enclosed, but there was a bit of sky and bamboo growing next to it.) Comfortable beds and cozy comforters and pillows. A little far from the train station, and uphill, but still very walkable. Near a lovely river and in a very pretty area away from the main part of town which provides a lot of peace and quiet. The Kaiseki dinner was phenomenal, one of our favorite meals. They went above and beyond providing a special meal for our toddler, including dessert (it was served beautifully like our meals were). The Japanese breakfast was amazing as well. We loved the traditional rooms and atmosphere, and the yukata robes were a wonderful touch.

The staff were accommodating the food was amazing. They even went the extra mile and made a vegetarian course for my partner. 10/10
