A fantastic place to say almost directly opposite Yumoto station. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was compact yet very functional. The hotel is just off the main street, so within walking distance of many restaurants, onsen, and stores. The bus to many sights is also a short walk. Highly recommended!!!

Location is amazing. You think that being cheap and 3 star means bad quality right? Wrong! This place is small, there's basically a large mattress and a small bathroom with little else but if all you need is a place to sleep, this hotel is spotlessly clean, it's comfortable, it's in a great location, you can walk by the river at night and save a lot of money. Wanting to do the hakone loop, there can be lots of people and it can get very busy so rather than going back to Tokyo, we stayed here overnight which let us enjoy it at our own pace and the town becomes quiet after dark with the pizza shop downstairs and a 7 eleven open. It's very relaxing, very cosy, there's a heater/AC, just what we needed! I could not recommend this place enough.
