The fine print
All rooms are non-smoking.If you wish to have meals, please make a reservation with the meal plan. Advance reservations are required for meals. You cannot choose where to eat. Meals will be served at a Japanese restaurant. If you wish to dine with another group, please notify the facility at the time of reservation. If you do not inform us, we may arrange separate tables for you. Changes to the meal content cannot be accepted(such as allergies or vegetarian requirements).Guests with children must inform us at the time of reservation. Please indicate the number of children and their ages in the Special Requests box; children 2 years and older are included in the number of guests. Please contact the facility for details.Public shuttle buses run from Hakone-Yumoto Station to each ryokan (charges apply, cash only).Guests must check in by 17:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.

The staff were extremely attentive and it was a wonderful experience to stay in a ryokan in beautiful gardens and indoor and outdoor Onsen. It was well located by the station so easily accessible to explore Hakone.

The outdoor onsen is beautiful. The Ryokan offers different room styles. The modern ones are very cosy. The traditional japanese rooms are completely different and in comparison less comfortable, but they give a more genuine experience.

This was a traditional japanese style room which looked amazing, we didnt book onto a meal but loved the room and the onsen. They have both public and private and we chose to book in for a private onsen at a fee. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a shop there too. The hotel itself is nice to roam around as they have lovely japanese garden. It rained whilst we were there but the gardens are beautiful. The location was also close to the train station.
