The room was lovely and had a mix of 2x western style beds and 2x Japanese style floor mattresses. It had a lovely balcony view of the mountain which was amazing to wake up to.

The room was sooo spacious and absolutely gorgeous! With so many thoughtful details. I loved the private onsen on the terrace, and I had a view over the mountains which was so beautiful. The annex was bit of a walk from the main building but I didn't mind that at all, and thought the location was super tranquil and I was so glad I chose to stay in Gora instead of Yumoto. Both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely excellent and each was quite an adventure! Highly recommended.

Staff are friendly. The accommodation is very well designed for guests to have full Japanese traditional style of hot spring experience. Well prepared dinner and breakfast.

The ryokan was well located for access to the Gora railway station. The room and bed were comfortable with the ambience that comes with a tatami room. We had chosen a breakfast and dinner meal plan and every meal was fantastic.
