Our room was spectacular, it had everything and more. The hotel itself is really beautiful, there are no words to describe it. The staff were great, especially at the restaurant. We enjoyed all the thermal baths and the outdoor bathtub in our room. Dinner and breakfast were exquisite. Even though we were not used to the amount of dishes and the flavours of traditional Japanese breakfast, we appreciated the presentation and the service.

The dinner is one of the best meal, execellence taste and set-up. Very good location beside the Gora station and not noisy at all. The hot bath is also very enjoyable. Certainly will stay there again if I am going to hakone

Traditional Japanese hotel next door to Gora station so ideal to travel all over Hakone which is beautiful and a refreshing escape from the big busy cities Part of the Dormi hotel chain it has the Onsen facilities which are pleasant We enjoyed the food which was very Japanese No continental or English breakfasts here Room was very spacious and comfy beds and pillows Free coffee and ice pops and fruit drinks ( a bit spicy for us) Cooking our own food was fun and the staff were so helpful dealing with our ignorance

Great staff and lovely location. Easy to get to from Gora station. There was a refresh station, where you can get free snacks at certain times. We received some fresh taiyaki as well as ice creams. The onsens were great - many pools with a variety of temperatures. The public outdoor bath was very relaxing. The room itself was amazing - large with our own open-air bath. Loved it and will book again.
