Ryokan Overview

Situated only a minute’s walk away from Gora Station of the Hakone Tozan Line, Setsugetsuka boasts a public hot spring bath with free flowing natural spring water, drawn from 2 different hot springs. Beautiful place with lovely rooms and facilities. Staff great. Lovely onsen. Dinner was delicious and some interesting food!

Tranquil setting for an emersive Onsen experience in the Hakone Mountains. There are beautiful Yukata and samue to wear around the hotel (multiple sizes and designs are available). Room was very traditional with private hot spring bath on balcony featuring a stunning view of Gora. Fantastic location! You walk out of the station, passed some souvenir shops and you are there! The set meals provided are very traditional Kaiseki dinners and add to the immersive nature of your stay, although dietaries aren’t accommodated the staff made particular effort to ensure my wife (who is pescatarian) had a dinner she could enjoy and the meat options were separate. The sushi and desert were phenomenal! The open air bath was our favourite part of the stay.
