Very relaxing, cosy, welcoming and had a warm nostalgic feel about it. It was clean and well equipped for things to do! I loved the recreational area full of games, manga and crafting resources and not to mention the private onsen. I especially loved the cats Milk, Leo and Devil. I was very grateful to the kind owner who let me meet them all and loved the cuddles I got with Milk. We were taken care of well. The location was also great, a short walk to the pampus fields, local restaurants and great hikes!

The stay itself was really nice, kinda what I expected but the room was even bigger than I thought. Tatami and futon are also more comfortable than I thought and we could have experienced tradition of a ryokan and so I discovered a lot: with awesome facilities like the onsen!

The rooms were quite spacious and a relaxing component of our trip. The whole facility was quiet and peaceful with the private onsens being a specific highlight and much-needed unwind after being in Tokyo. The games and origami are also a fun addition and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. Lastly, the location was terrific and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd do differently is spend more time at the ryokan!

The food was fantastic. Rather had to think of paying for the food with lodgings included. Rather than lodgings with food included!
