Upon arrival, slippers were given, bags were taken to our room, and they gave us tea and a snack while waiting. Everything was explained to us clearly - the facility was clean, the staff were kind, and the food was delicious! I would actually recommend staying here for a couple days, just so you have more time to explore the area!

The staff were extremely attentive. They welcomed me at the door with great courtesy and made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. The dinner served was delicious. The room was very comfortable and exactly as I had imagined. The private onsen was at the perfect temperature. I was able to fully enjoy my stay and will certainly return to this ryokan when I’m in Hakone again.

So glad we booked this property. Room was nice and spacious with a good sized private onsen facing a great view. The most memorable part were the meals. Dinner was an 8-course meal, with sakura wine and tea included. You get 2 types of beef and you cook it over fuji stone grill. Everything was amazing and well thought of. We were expecting a simple breakfast after that special dinner but were positively surprised with a full spread meal with fish and a mini hotpot on the side. Staff were super friendly, cheerful and respectful and made our stay even better. You also get dropped off the nearest bus stop after checkout. The whole experience was great we will book again next time we’re in Japan.
