Ryokan Overview

Super typical ryokan. They have a different public and private onsen that you can use 24h. The dinner was served in the room and it had a lot of dishes with both meat and fish. For the breakfast you can choose between Japanese and international. We chose the second one and it was good and various. They supplied kimono, towel and all the necessary. Futon are very comfortable to sleep. The atmosphere is super authentic . I wish I could stay more.

I couldn’t fault our stay at the Fukuzumiro ryokan - it’s an experience that I’ll remember for many years to come. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the stay as I hadn’t read too much into it but knew it was a must-do activity in Japan and I was so pleasantly surprised. The staff were nothing short of excellent; dinner and breakfast service were amazing and the luggage was well looked after. The facilities and amenities were great and I didn’t feel myself longing for anything.

One of the most wonderful experiences I've had travelling through Japan. A warm welcome from a lovely team of staff to an outstanding traditional Inn with several Onsen. I recommend having dinner at the Inn - the vegetarian breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommended

From the authentic interiors to the attentive staff, Fukuzumiro offers an ideal respite from the outside world. The kaiseki-ryōri was some of the best I've ever had and the relaxing waters of the various baths can make a person forget all their troubles.
