Privacy of the baths. The system worked really well and you were very enclosed even when outside. The baths were also fantastic by the way Lots of amenities.

Very nice hotel, fully equipped, with a very gentle and helpful staff. The onsens are very enjoyable and easy to book. The rooms are comfortable, whether you are sleeping on a bed or on a futon. Hakone is a very enjoyable place, don't hesitate to use the cable car to get to the hotel as the slopes can be very steep in the area, especially if you have heavy luggages and no car.

The staff were so friendly! The breakfast was amazing. The location is a little walk from the train station, which you walk uphill from to get there. Make sure to purchase the Hakone two day pass from the train station and enjoy the magic of a gondala over a volcanic valley. I took a hiking mattress (500g) which saved me as the traditional bedding is hard. No showers in the rooms, you simply book the private onsen, relax and enjoy!
