The staff were friendly, the property was immaculatly clean and the location was great.

The room was full of amenities, especially the private bathroom. There were shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, alcohol hand sanitizer, moisturiser lotion, water cleanser, and oil cleanser. The room itself was quite cozy and somewhat spacious for Japan's standard.

Pension Puppy Tail is a perfect guesthouse. It is so well run and had everything you could need. The owner was welcoming, kind and generous. I would stay here again if in Hakodate and highly recommend.

Place has a lot of character, well located and the family running it is extremely kind! Even though we stayed just a night it made a very positive impression on us. We even got snacks
