Location couldn't be better if you are arriving by train.....literally next door to the station. Very central to everything else. The room had a great view from level 9, and was of a good size, unlike the minimalist one I'm typing this in. The included breakfast was the BEST we've ever experienced. You might need to stay a week to sample all the wonderful sushi, sashimi and other seafood dishes. For westerners addicted to toast and cereal for breakfast you might struggle a bit.....Hakodate is a bit off the usual Tourist Trail on Honshu, so not as many gaijin up this way. The hotel had the usual excellent staff, clean rooms, with the bonus of an excellent OFURO, which made my Japanese wife very happy. Definitely one we would return to if we are fortunate to find the time to return to this interesting small and uncrowded city ( VERY different to most others)

Convenient (near train station and public transports. clean and good facilities. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is good.

One of the best hotels in Japan. Right next to Hakodate Station. It's spacious, clean, very tastefully decorated, and has a lovely public bath (incl. an outdoor pool!) and a lounge area with a breath-taking view. If this somehow wasn't enough, the staff is extremely kind and competent. We left something in one of the rooms, contacted them about it, and they arranged for the item to be delivered to our last hotel in Tokyo (at zero extra cost apart from the delivery fee which was extremely cheap, around 1600 yen). As far as I could tell, it's a Hokkaido-only hotel chain so I might just make my next trip to Japan a grand tour of Hokkaido and only stay in JR Inns :).

Location at station. Nearby to points of interest (use public transport or walking ). Staff really helpful. Room comfortable for couple and clean. Cafes/restuarants within easy walking distance. Recommend.
