“I can highly recommend Ulala!”

Location for those who arrive with own vechile is excellent, but also those who use public transportation are very well served. Owner is really helpfull and makes you feel comfortable so thank you Ulala!

“Great location in residential neighbourhood with mountain view. Walkable from downtown/nearest station. Onsen across”
27 Oct 2024
The owner is a superb host. Friendly and helpful. Keeps everything very orderly. The location is great at a walkable distance from downtown/nearest station. It is just across the road from a pleasant onsen which accepts day trippers. It means you can add a bit of luxury to your guest house stay. Bicycle rental and luggage storage is at the nearest station. They know Ulala and they were very flexible about extending the standard period to suit my plan.

“If you're a solo female traveler visiting Hagi, I highly recommend here!”
17 Jul 2024
It was a lovely stay! The host Fumiko-san is so sweet and she cares very much about her guests. The guesthouse is kept very clean, and I feel very safe staying there and in the privacy of my own room. I drove my own car and there was parking in the front of the house which was good. I would highly recommend this to solo female travelers. For foreign travelers who don't know much Japanese, Fumiko-san will always try her best to understand. She will always gladly listen and answer any questions you have, and has great recommendations for Hagi. I would love to stay here again if I visit again.

“Lovely guesthouse”

Ulala is an adorable guesthouse, and I recommend it a lot. The place is clean, the room is comfortable and you feel very safe. It is offered free slippers, free towels, and the bathroom is equipped with high-quality shampoo, hair mask, cleansing oil and hairdryer. Also, the owner is welcoming and makes you feel like home. She offered me a car ride in two instances, and helped me take my luggage to the bus station. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. it is located two minutes away from a Buddhist temple (Tokoji), which is worth visiting. Hagi is a beautiful, small coastal city with many interesting historical places, and the kindest people I met throughout my trip in Japan. You can do everything basically by walking but there’s also a cheap and nice bus system transportation that takes you to the main places faster.
