The location was perfect for us, we wanted to be away from everything and everyone! We could walk from directly outside the door which was exactly what we were looking to be able to do. Absolutely no faults there, we wanted to be able to just go off and walk for miles which is exactly what we did. The OS maps were really helpful for route planning and supported our own ready made plans. It was lovely to be able to lie in bed in the morning and look out onto the views. There were lovely fluffy bath towels which is always appreciated! Check in was late (5pm) and check out early (9am) we asked for more time if possible and were offered arrival at 4pm and leave by 10am - which compared to other places we have stayed is really limiting. The cottage is the one in the middle on the photos, (one window up and down stairs) not the double fronted one on the left!
