The owners of the property were beautifully welcoming and very proud of their place. After a very hot day we enjoyed a fresh watermelon juice on arrival. The breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan food and was absolutely delicious. The room was immaculate and great price. We highly recommend this place.

We could not recommend Swan Lake highly enough. Accomodation was fantastic - clean, tidy and well organised. The food was incredible. One person in our group had a food allergy and it was very well catered to. An amazing way to experience local food - cooked and prepared perfectly. Honestly would be a highlight at any restaurant and yet it was just another great part of this experience. Kalhara (the owner) is one of the best. He assisted in finding activities, transport, bookings, navigation, advice and was available at a moments notice. His approach is what sets Swan Lake above any hotel or other form of accomodation. Once you stay here you’ll understand exactly what I mean.
