We liked the cruise and the activities. Special thanks to Tony who organised birthday decorations in our room. He was a very good guide and host during our trip. Thanks again, Annetje & Mostafa

“Pleasant journey around Cat Ba”

We did two nights three days which included kayaking, swimming, boat trips on small tenders, cycling and visiting a fish farm. The evenings entailed squid fishing and karaoke. The boat had 10 cabins and was charming inside. The top deck could do with a little touching up but still nice. The food was lovely and plentiful, ranging from fish, seafood and meats. Breakfast included toast, bacon, eggs and noodles. They ask before serving first lunch if there are any specific diet requirements and cater well. Drinks are not included apart from water given in cabins and on the tours. Drinks are more expensive than on land but nothing too crazy. The rooms were cosy and once the engine was off in the evening the boat was fairly quiet. The staff were friendly and a social mention to our guide Tony! The team on the boat arranged transfers from Ninh Binh to cat ba and back to Hanoi post trip for $16 each both ways which was a fair price for a 3/4 hour journey. There is no WiFi on this boat. So take that into consideration if you need to keep in touch with home and have no data. Overall a pleasant few days away that we thoroughly enjoyed.
