Hotel Ha Giang Hostel (formerly Ha Giang Hostel Motorbike and Tour)

The hotel and hotel room itself was incredibly clean, rooms spacious and the shower hot. The receptionist was extremely accommodating with every request including arranging us breakfast before our 7am bus despite breakfast not starting until 7.15. We booked the Ha Giang loop through the hostel and we were thrilled with the result. We did our tour as a group of 4 with Hinh (tour guide) and easy riders Luc, Toa and Dûong. All four of them gave us such a unique and special experience, and took us to some great spots along the loop for photos. They only take small groups so if you don’t want one of the party party party groups this is great, as it’s just the perfect level of party! Also, because our group was so small, we were able to go on smaller roads that the bigger groups can’t, and we didn’t stop at the crowded viewpoints making us able to stop at equally beautiful viewpoints with less people. Hinh and Luc special shout outs as they made extra efforts with us to make our experiences even better. Would definitely recommend!

I had such an amazing 4 days/3 nights Ha Giang Loop tour from this hostel! It was so difficult to pick a company when there's sooo many options but this trip was so brilliant, I'm so happy I picked this one! Hinh was our guide and I can't imagine a better guide! His English is amazing - he told us lots of interesting info and I saw other groups listening in when he was chatting to us! He answered all my questions and taught me so much about local life as we drove along! We were all vegetarians/vegans in our group and he went above and beyond to make sure there was so much food everyone could eat at every meal and we knew exactly what was vegan. This is 100% the most veggie/vegan friendly trip I've been on! I was also so impressed by how safely all the drivers drove - they were really careful and never took any risks or drove too fast like some other groups we saw! I felt really safe the whole trip! The drivers were all so lovely and a few of them also had great English which was so lovely in the evenings to chat as a group, we felt like a little family by the end! I can't wait for Luc to become a guide too, he'll do such a good job! The homestays were all really nice - I had the dorm to myself for 2 of the nights as everyone else had privates! The food was amazing and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We didn't stay in any homestays where the big groups go so we could spend the evening chatting/playing cards etc but still sleep at night! It was the perfect mix of social but not party! Our group was also so lovely, there was 4 of us in total and everyone loved hanging out in evenings after the big family dinners together! I can't recommend this trip more! When I arrived at the hostel it felt quiet as I think everyone was packing for the loop or had just come back so don't panic it that happens to you too - I had such a good sleep and shower before the trip, I'm so happy with my choice!

My three-day Ha Giang Loop adventure was absolutely unforgettable, and it all started with my stay at Ha Giang Hostel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, setting the tone for an amazing journey ahead. The highlight of this experience, without a doubt, was the Ha Giang Loop tour itself. Riding on the back of a motorbike through breathtaking landscapes, often venturing beyond the typical tourist paths, was an adventure like no other. But what made this trip truly special were my incredible drivers – Minh (the Photographer), Cuong (the TikToker), and Van (the Singer). Each of them brought their unique personality and skills, making the journey not only safe and smooth but also full of laughter, great stories, and unforgettable moments. Minh captured the best shots, Cuong kept the energy high, and Van added a soulful touch with his singing – together, they made this adventure beyond perfect. Beyond the stunning scenery, what stood out most was the genuine Vietnamese hospitality I experienced throughout the trip. Every stop, every meal, and every interaction felt warm and authentic. If you're considering doing the Ha Giang Loop, this is the way to do it! With Ha Giang Hostel as your base and their fantastic team leading the tour, you're in for the adventure of a lifetime. 100% recommended – I'd give it 11/10 if I could!

The breakfast was, as usual in the Loop area, served in an aesthetic and clean way, hot and rich in fruits, hot drinks and snacks. The location is not central, you can order a taxi for 50 Dong . And it also has the advantage of one night before the loop.

We booked our Ha Giang Loop trip through this hostel and it has been the most amazing trip we have ever been on. We booked the loop for 4 days 3 night and it was a smaller - 8 people. The drivers and the guide were so sweet, helpful and fun! Every evening we checked in at homestays provided by the loop and had a party with the others from the group and the guides ! The homestays during the loop were in beautiful surroundings with the possibility of booking a private room or to stay with the others from the group. I can really recommend to book your Ha Giang Loop trip through this hostel, and book all 4 days! When you are with a smaller group you get to know each other even more and have more time at the view spots during the trip.

The hostel was awesome as the breakfast all the personnel was so helpful before, during and even after our stay. The best part is Ha giang loop! Took the 4 days, 3 nights with Hinh and Van as easy riders and they were beyond perfection. Even if you are a good rider take the drivers its so much more relax and you can enjoy the beautiful landscape. I recommend strongly to do the 4 days loop. We had so much fun and saw so many beautiful things! Don’t hesitate a second about it, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Hinh and Van

Stayed one night on either side of my Ha Giang loop ride. The room was immaculately clean. Staff were lovely. Excellent water pressure and the water was HOT. Basic toiletries provided. Breakfast was delicious. Perfectly fine for a night or two. I was so happy to have a real hot shower after completing the loop.
