The accommodation is very charming and ideally located in the historic center of Gyumri. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming.

The host and his family is super friendly and ready to help. His father has been very kind. He brought some fruits for me. When I left, the host helped calling a taxi for me. The neighbors are also kind and helpful. The location is great. I can walk to most places.

The most beautiful place we stayed during our trip through Armenia! Papa Alashkert built this part of the house, resembling the old Armenian house from 100 years ago (but wíth modern luxury). The house is located in the heart of Gyumri. Everything you need and need to visit is in walking distance. We were welcomed by one of the two sons, a Masterstudent Arts and Culture, that speaks very good English. He and his brother also work in the local theatre, one as a director and one as an actor. If you have the time, they are more than willing to give you a private tour there. After we installed we got a tour through dad’s housemuseum, a very common thing to have in Armenia. Mom spoiled us with coffee and fresh grapes. The morning after we watched dad making peach vodka in they cosy garden (65%!!), while enjoying our coffees. We would’ve loved to stay an extra night (we stayed here for 2 nights), but we had to leave to Georgia for the next part of our trip.
