This is traditional Hanok accommodation in a touristy but picturesque part of the town, close to many sights and eateries. The mattresses were comfortable and the room warm (in mid December). The shower didn’t soak the entire bathroom, which doesn’t go without saying in Korea! The owner, Harry was welcoming and helped us with bike rental (highly recommended!) and recommended things to see including lesser known attractions (such as the beautiful Space-C art gallery). There was free tea and coffee available all day.

The host was super nice, and he helped us to plan our stay. His English is good and we could have some nice conversation. The place is really beautiful and well-kept. The room is nice, warm, and has everything you need. We also loved the breakfast.

Lovely hanok style hotel with the sweetest owner who will help with everything you need (when you want help) and who great suggestions for dinner etc. Location is perfect, hanok is very clean, mattrass thick enough (a real plus!), and you get some nice fruit, bread and eggs in the morning as breakfast.

We had such a lovely time at SiEunJae. Not only were the facilities very comfortable but the host Harry was wonderful. He gave us lots of local information and even took us to one of the archaeological digs in the area. We would definitely stay here again

The historical experience was incredible. They were nicely maintained and the included breakfast was always fresh with interesting fruits to sample and a freshly baked cake. The host was so lovely and able to answer our questions and give advice.

We had a lovely two night stay here. The room was great and the place is very conveniently located for sightseeing and food. Harry was really helpful, he gave good recommendations and even helped us get one of our bags delivered after it got lost on the flight!

Everything. The location was right in the city centre near restaurants and cafes, but since it is located like around the corner it was absolutely calm and quiet during the night. The owners made sure i felt comfortable at all times and gave me great tips and informations on what and where i could see all the major tourist attractions in the surroundings. I am not sure i would have found the right busstops without him. Breakfast was also great with fruits, eggs and bread and traditional gyeongju bread. All in all this was an exceptionnally great stay and also the best stay in my 2 weeks holidays in south korea - by far.

Great stay in a traditional Hanok. Harry, the host, was very kind and helped us make the most of our one-day visit in Gyeongju by making good recommendations and helping with organizing transportation. The hotel is located central in the village and close to many main sights. Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here.
