Hostel Overview

Errigal Hostel, uniquely positioned in Dunlewey at the foot of Errigal mountain in the Gaeltacht, with Glenveagh National Park on one side and the Wild Atlantic Way beaches on the other side.
Room options comprise of double, twin, triple, family, 4 bed dorms and 6 bed dorms. With a range of private rooms with ensuite wet rooms and shared rooms with private bathrooms and shower rooms located in the hallway.
Featuring a self-catering kitchen fully equipped with facilities to cook your own meals, with options to eat out at the local hot deli, restaurant, café and pub which are located in the village. There is also free onsite car parking, free WiFi, dining area, self catering kitchen, a drying room, shared lounge and outdoor seating areas.
Errigal Hostel is the perfect base for hikers, cyclists, photographers, nature lovers and beach goers alike to explore one of Ireland’s most scenic regions. With a large selection of local amenities and activities that include hikes, guided walks, kayaking tours, local bike drop off service and Ionad Cois Locha heritage centre.
Easily accessible by road with a stunning thirty minute drive from Letterkenny through Glenveagh National Park, Muckish and Errigal mountain, dropping into Dunlewey through the Derryveagh mountains. Local bus services stop outside the hostel and provides routes to local attractions and amenities, as well as further afield to Donegal Town, Sligo, Derry and Belfast. Or arrive into Donegal Airport, voted most scenic landing in the World, located only twenty minutes away.

Extraordinary location, at the foot of Mount Errigal. Convenient is the shop next to it. Hostel has ben recently reopened, so brand new. Bus stop in front.
