It was a very well thought out and aesthetically pleasing property. The rooms exceeded expectations; were very large with lots of storage, and a good sized very quiet fridge with a freezer compartment that worked. There was a comfortable sofa to sit on and a spacious segregated sleeping area as well as work space and a table to eat at. What makes Vila Boem a really special place though, is the staff. They work together as a team and are proactive in ensuring guests get the most out of their visit to the local area. Another lovely touch is that the history of the property is included in the information folder in the room along with tourism suggestions . If I lived in Europe I would definitely come back for long weekend stays. A lovely place to relax.

The room is not the usual "hotel style" room, has a large living area and some kitchen with a toaster, kettle and a microwave oven. Also the fridge is decent size not micro fridge that hotels usually have. The furniture is very good functional and looks great. The bed is very comfy, the room temperature was perfect (in the winter). On the outside it was a backyard where you could park car, remote controlled gate with remote control for each guest. Also the shared space of the library at the ground floor looks great place to stay if you check in here with friends. The host was very nice, gives us advice on where to eat, how to organize the experiences around. Don't go there with a plan. Let the experience unflod in front of you and enjoy it.
