Torel Royal Court is a beautifully restored historic palacete in the center of Guimarães, full of charm and character. We stayed in the Shanghai room, which was very spacious, with a large and elegant black-and-white bathroom. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the complimentary welcome drink was a lovely touch. The garden with a small pool was especially appreciated on the hot day we were there. The hotel strikes a great balance between historical style and modern comfort. Given the quality of the experience, the value for money was outstanding.

The property was amazing. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. The staff are brilliant and the breakfast was delicious.

Gorgeous room and property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only slight downside was building work in some of the rooms and builders walking through the garden but they kept noise and inconvenience to a minimum
