Joe the owner was amazing, very helpful with organising our stay. He is also passionate about helping to foster the backpacking community in his city. The room was nice, plenty of space, and the hostel has a nice vibe.

Joe and Ellen are amazing owner. In this guest house it's easy to book some tours, they are very helpful and speak fluent English. That will make you more comfortable to visit Guilin and around. What a pleasure to meet them !

We really liked our standard twin room, it was basic but an effort was made to make it nice and comfortable. It was clean, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and quiet at night. The directions given were excellent, we found our way to the guesthouse from the train station by public bus with no problems. Very good English spoken at reception and they offer tours as well as the option to join in for a dinner together with locals and other guests. Shops and restaurants close by. We liked the duck restaurant across the road, the food was delicious!
