Clean hotel, not the modern new kind, more the 1980ies kind, with a big bath that you can actually sit on (ideal for older people) and porcelain bathroom amenities. The toilet was the size of Brazil. A real throne...The bed was one storey up creaky stairs and big and comfy. Mini fridge, a chair and desk and a sofa. TV in the bedroom. The bathroom was definitely worth the stay : no shower cabin the size of a sardine can, but a real big bath where you can sit on the side under a stream of refreshing cooling water. Ideal for travelers in transit who arrive sweaty and exhausted. The staff is friendly and competent. They offer full days and half days. I stayed 1,5 days before my connecting flight. They sell cool drinks and biscuits and soap, shampoo etc. Reception is open 24h. Breakfast was included and the coffee was excellent. Ten minutes drive per taxi from Guarulhos airport. They have Rodolfo, their dedicated taxi driver who can be trusted and he drives a big luxury Toyota with a huge trunk. If you like your hotel to be retro with no excess luxuries, than the Cumbipar King is where you want to go !

The room is pretty comfortable and it's possible to have dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast is good also.

In case of a few hours stop in Sao Paulo before taking another plane, it can be a good compromise. No suitable for other purposes.
