The view and the free access to the funicular are by far the best parts about staying here. The breakfast was also very generous. There were some downsides - e.g. the unusable bath tub (takes forever to fill and is cold by the time it does), the balcony not being private, and the weak wifi signal that often did not work entirely. I wouldn't stay here for more than a night again, accessibility is difficult later at night so it's less convenient

The highlight of our stay in Mexico. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The free funicular rides were fun too. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi. To get there we used uber that drove us to the Monumento de Pipila (the viewing point above the hotel). From there you take 2 small flights of stairs down (2-3 min).

The location is beautiful. We had a (free upgrade after asking) room with large balcony overlooking the city. A great benefit is you can use the cable car for free and skip the line. Also very friendly staff!
