Hotel Overview

The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre.
During the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is a great place to relax while your children have fun on the playground, in the games rooms, or on the electric car track.
Guests can visit the inviting private spa area, with a sauna, a steam bath and a tub for 2-4 people, which should be booked on the day of use. The exclusive use of the spa area is possible for a surcharge. A fitness corner, massages and beauty treatments are available on request and subject to availability.
At Hotel Arc en Ciel, you can choose between the charming Pizzeria with its wood-fired oven and the fine La Sarine restaurant featuring a winter garden and a sunny terrace. In the hotel lobby you can find a lounge with a fireplace.
A large parking lot is available for free and the garage is accessible at an additional cost. Guests can easily access the skiing and hiking trails in the area or go mountain biking. Free bicycles are available.

The fine print
Spring renovation 23 March to 12 June 2026 Chalet Micheline and the surrounding road will be undergoing renovation work this spring. Unfortunately, our spa and fitness room will be unavailable during this period. Construction work will take place on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. As a thank you for your understanding, we are offering a 10% discount on room rates between 23 March and 12 June 2026. The discount is already included in the rate.
Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Spa/wellness centre is closed from 2026-06-12 until 2026-03-23 Fitness centre is closed from 2026-06-12 until 2026-03-23 Swimming pool is closed from Wed 7 Jan 2026 until Sun 7 Jun 2026

It was a nice hotel. I arrived there knowing it’s next to the ski lifts but the ski-lift closed for end of period a week earlier. It wasn’t written on the booking. So I thought I could enjoy the spa . It was also closed for renovation. Then I thought of going to the gym. It was also closed for renovation. All these renovations were not mentioned in booking. In general the experience was not as expected.
